Sometimes, it is not easy being a person struggling to meet the expectations of life. Life is full of unexpected challenges, hurdles, and hardships. At times, our emotions render us powerless and makes us ask, “How did I end up here?”. As a counselor, I believe you deserve space to explore how engage in life. I want to support you while identifying the best approach to manage life’s challenges. My areas of expertise includes: anxiety and depression management, improving relationship issues and family dynamics, parent coaching, navigating life transitions, identity, improving self-confidence/self-esteem issues, and eating disorders.
I specialize primarily in working with adolescents, emerging adults, families, and couples. I use techniques from a variety of therapeutic modalities including: CBT, DBT, ACT, Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing, and Expressive Arts Therapies. I would describe myself as a compassionate and empathetic voice that empowers you to reach for your goals.
Suffering can be exhausting. Therapy is not a “one-size-fits-all” relationship. Therapy can be a place to navigate and empower you to reduce your suffering on your own terms. With help and guidance from a supportive voice, we can work to unleash the best version of you.
