Rae Saunders, LICSW
Mental Health Clinician
Are you feeling sad or overwhelmed? Are you struggling in your relationships and feeling more isolated or disconnected? My goal will be to reduce the self doubt and negative thoughts holding you back so you feel happy with yourself and fulfilled in your life. I strive to create a space where all parts of you are accepted and valued. I specialize with issues concerning LGBTQIA+, BIPOC, and individuals ages 19+ suffering from Depressive/Anxiety disorders, Substance use, Complex Trauma, Racial/Ethnic Issues, Co-dependency, PTSD, and Physical/Sexual Abuse
My treatment approach is grounded in the Internal Family Systems (IFS) model as a Level-1 clinician. IFS allows me to view all thoughts, feelings, and behaviors with compassion and curiosity, even the ones that are currently causing challenges in your life. I also utilize other approaches including: Solution-Focused, CBT, and Motivational Interviewing.
Do not suffer in silence. As a biracial therapist, I’m familiar with the challenges of straddling two identities and I value the opportunity to help clients navigate that experience.
