Reimagine Counseling, LLC is a company dedicated to providing counseling services to the South Shore areas. Our mission is to provide evidence-based, trauma-informed, and culturally relevant and representative therapy to our diverse and growing client population. We are a small private practice located in a historic building in Quincy Center. We are located steps from the Quincy Center T-stop. We offer individual, family, and relationship therapy to adults and college-aged students with a wide variety of issues. The practice is expanding and looking to add full-time clinicians.

Job Description: Reimagine Counseling, LLC seeks to hire a talented and well-trained Mental Health Counselor/Psychotherapists to join a growing, creative, supportive, and team-oriented group practice in a beautifully decorated and comfortable office location. Clinician is responsible to maintain steady caseload with focus on high-quality clinical practice.

NOTE: Due to COVID-19, clinicians will continue to work from home until further notice.

 

Responsibilities: Clinical duties include:

  • Conducting individual, Family, and Relationship Psychotherapy (Special consideration to those to whom have knowledge and experience working with LGBTQIA+, Men and Women of color and other diverse populations).

  • Developing therapeutic treatment plans, maintaining appropriate clinical records

  • Case management and Collateral Communication

  • Attending monthly staff meetings and weekly clinical consultation meetings

We seek ONLY the best and most dedicated professionals:

  • Demonstrable psychotherapy skill and training

  • Most highly devoted and competent with patients/clients in terms of compassion, communication, loyalty, consistency and effectiveness

  • Must be highly-trained, and independently licensed in Massachusetts

  • Demonstrable skills with treating a range of psychological disorders.

  • Either current or projected desire to develop a specialization regarding a therapeutic approach (EMDR, CCPT, CBT, ACT, etc) or diagnosis (Depression, Personality Disorders, Anxiety, Substance Abuse).

  • Must be willing to build and maintain a practice of 30 client hours per week.

  • Must be willing to participate in MH and diversity-based awareness campaigns.

  • Must have a demonstrated commitment for diversity and experience treating persons and professionals of color. Must have experience working with issues concerning Discrimination, LGBTQ issues, Life Transitions, and Cultural Competency.

 

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate should have strong clinical skills, commitment to providing quality services, and have the capacity to work independently.

Qualified applicants must have:

  • A Master’s or Doctorate Degree (Ph.D., Psy.D., LICSW, or LMHC) in psychology, counseling, or social work;

  • An active, unrestricted license in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts (LMHC, LICSW, LADC1). Candidates who are not yet licensed will NOT be considered.

  • Be willing to work 1 night per week.

 

Schedule and Responsibilities:

Full-time Positions:

  • Monday to Friday (Weekends are optional as part of your full-time hours)

  • Clinician must maintain a caseload of 30 patients with an average of 27 clients p/w (this case load will be progressively built over several weeks).

  • Clinician must stay consistent with all collateral contacts and case management responsibility.

  • Attend meetings which includes individual and group clinical consultations.

  • We also have positions Friday, Saturday and Sundays hours (MINIMUM commitment of 12 kept patient appointments per weekend)

 

Compensation and Benefits:

The therapist will be an employee, not an independent contractor, and will be compensated on a fee-for-service basis which includes meetings in addition to psychotherapy sessions (for the first 60 days of employment).

 

Reimagine Counseling Benefit Structure: All full-time benefit packages include:

  • 2-weeks paid vacation for the first year and 3 weeks for all subsequent years

Once clinician obtains a minimum caseload of 25 billable hours, the clinician will become salaried and eligible for full benefit scheme. Practice will handle credentialing, referrals, first appointment scheduling, office maintenance and costs, as well as all billing and accounting duties.
