Intuitive Eating Skills Group

Are you tired of the diet cycle involving countless attempts at losing weight? Sometimes, it is difficult to abide by the rules of “Diet Culture”. Do you want to throw away the scale and learn how to eat in a way that honors both your Body and Mind?

Intuitive Eating is a weight-inclusive and body-positive self-care framework. The Intuitive Eater’s goal is to learn how to attune to your body's needs and challenge those unhelpful rules, beliefs, and thoughts dictated to us by “Diet Culture”.

Based on the work of Evelyn Tribole and Elyse Resch, the group will teach participants the 10 principles of Intuitive Eating. Group participants will obtain psychoeducation and skill-building techniques utilizing the Intuitive Eating framework. Group participants will practice skills to help improve their relationship between food and body.
