Are you tired of the diet cycle involving countless attempts at losing weight? Sometimes it is hard to abide by the rules of diet culture. Do you want to throw away the scale and learn to eat in a way that honors your body and mind?
Intuitive Eating is a weight-inclusive and body-positive self-care framework. The Intuitive Eating goal is to learn how to attune to your body's needs and challenge those unhelpful rules, beliefs, and thoughts dictated to us by diet culture.
Based on the work of Evelyn Tribole and Elyse Resch, the group will teach participants the ten principles of Intuitive Eating. Group participants will obtain psychoeducation and skill-building techniques utilizing the Intuitive Eating framework. Group participants will practice skills to help improve their relationship between food and body.
